I’m Elizabeth

Welcome to Redeeming Birth. It’s such an honor to serve women as they navigate Birth and the start of Motherhood. It’s truly a JOY to watch women learn to trust their instincts and find the confidence they need for an empowered birth experience.

Hello friend,

I’m Elizabeth. A holistically minded “crunchy” wife, and Christian momma to 7 amazing children. On a typical day you’ll find me homeschooling, baking sourdough bread, or outside working on our homestead. I’m a firm believer in natural remedies, raw milk, and nourishing our bodies with nutrient dense foods!

Redeeming Birth was created out of the desire to help other women experience birth & postpartum in a different way. I believe new mothers deserve to be held and cared for by the women around them in the same way that they hold and care for their own babies.  We, as mothers tend to put ourselves last. We are so busy caring for our loved ones that we often forget to slow down and fill our own cup. I am here to help women find their voice, release their fears, and “Re-deem” or re-gain possession of their birth and postpartum experience.

AND  if you are wondering what

brought me to this work…

There are many moments in my life that I attribute to my start in birth work but experiencing Motherhood is probably my number one reason! The older I get, the more I realize the importance of having other women in our lives who will guide us, encourage us, support us, most of all just be there.

I’ve been a birth doula for 17 years and love every part of it but I also have a very special place in my heart for postpartum support and whole-body nourishment.  When a new baby is born, so is a mother, and we often forget how important it is to care for her during this period. It’s truly a Joy to love and support women through birth and postpartum!

Thank you for trusting me.

Let’s create something beautiful!
